Came here on a Sunday for lunch. They have lunch specials on weekdays during lunch time. Dinner specials are more expensive than the lunch, but the portion is probably more. I had the dinner special for 2 people that came with a seafood pancake, seafood skewers, bulgogi and galbi with lettuce wraps and seaweed wraps, rice, and a soup. The soup can chosen among soft tofu, kimchee or soybean. This dinner special is almost $40 which is pretty good in my opinion and is more than enough for 2 people. Their side dishes are very good and there were about 12 different ones (maybe even more). They also let you have complimentary ice cream or a yogurt drink after the food. Our waitress was nice and accommodating even though she was the only one waiting in the restaurant when we came.

If I could rate this place less than one star - I would .
The first hint : a sign at the counter reads : if you do not like the food , you must still pay .
We walked into this place on a Saturday night at 8 PM .
We love going out to eat Korean and our favorite place was closed ..so we thought : how bad could O-Bok be ?
O-Bok had bright blaring lights and no one greeted us , for awhile , as we walked through the restaurant .
Two white folks came out to take our order .
The place did not appear to be clean .
The food was not bad and the portions were VERY small .
While we were eating , the Korean owners dragged out some intense foul smelling bucket of cleaning liquid.
We paid our bill . The Korean owners looked completely depressed and NO ONE said anything pleasant .
We will not be going back -

Awful. Just awful and such a disappointment to both me and my husband that we gave up and went down the street to put something else in our stomach. Normally, it would make sense to just send back a dish because it wasn't hot enough or seasoned to our liking but everything just failed-except the service.
We ordered a yook gwe jang and a jjamoong and there was a definite lack of veggies, beef and beef stock in the soup. There was no sesame oil, chilies and maybe a tiny bit of egg but plenty of green onions seeped in what tasted like water-just water.
The jjamoong noodle was over cooked, the seafood variety was lacking and the clams weren't opened which troubled me just a bit. And again, the cook was afraid of chili peppers. It didn't even register as mildly spicy and tasted like yesterdays seafood broth with last weeks noodles. It was just awful and an empty restaurant at 1:00 should have been a red flag.
This is a watered down version of what Korean food should taste like and they could do themselves a favor and take a cooking course or two. -

I love Korean food and this place doesn't disappoint ... please check them out. Say hi to Nick when you get there The Korean salad is must and in cold days try jambong (seafood noodle).

This place has amazing underrated authentic Korean food!
It's in its own separate building but I will still consider it a hole in the wall.
We came on Sunday at around 3:30.
There was no one there which I found pretty sad.
The menu is filled with many delicious Korean foods which range about 5-20 dollars.
They also have grilling but it's not ayce.
Per meat plate is around 12 to 20 dollars but so much cheaper than Hero Korean!
We ordered the cold noodle soup and galbi combo which was only 13.99!!
Such an amazing deal!
Arirang just went up one dollar on their specials and Korea Garden is like up to 20 dollars for their specials.
And get this Obok has cold noodles as one of their specials which neither arirang or Korea garden do.
The meal game with a small lettuce salad with an amazing soy sauce vinegar dressing. There were about ten small banchan which I was obsessed with.
It was my first time having cold noodle soup and even though I thought it was hard to pass by the fact that it's supposed to be eaten cold, the broth... oooo soooo good and so flavorful.
They only give you three pieces of galbi
And also it doesn't come with rice which costs 1.99.
They also give you ice cream or a yogurt drink at the end of the meal for free.
Great place and very cheap would bring my college friends here!!!
